Taj's mission is that each person would experience the joy, vitality, freedom of self and the passion that yoga brings. She was guided to yoga in 1994 by Konda Mason, noted Kripalu instructor and Vipassana meditation teacher. Taj is the director of Good Karma Yoga. She teaches private and group classes in her home.

Anna

Anna has practiced yoga with top teachers in LA for over fourteen years. Her background is in Ashtanga and Iyengar. She teaches a rigorous yet fun class, designed for students of various levels. Anna encourages everyone to challenge their own mental and physical state in a manner appropriate to where they are right now. She gently coaxes her students to experience a deep physical and mental relaxation throughout the practice. She completes the class with at least 7 minutes of deep relaxation and letting go.

Bobbi's playful teaching style draws an eclectic mix of people to her inspired flow classes. She is also the creator of the innovative children's video and soon to be TV program, Animal Yoga.

Teaching yoga for the artist in us all, Emily incorporates her knowledge of the chakras and emphasizes the union of breath and flow to heal and inspire. Through a creative vinyasa approach, classes are sure to challenge and invigorate while restoring and deeply moving through negativity and tension. Certified in New York City, her passion for acting recently brought her West. She teaches Yoga for Artists and Speaking Your Truth workshops as well as a teen-age girls soccer team! Emily enjoys Arizona sunsets, the East Village, and Rock and Roll.


Kristikka

Toya learned yoga at the Atma Center in Ohio and the Rocky Mountain Institute of Yoga and Ayurveda in Boulder, CO. She is knowledgeable in Ayurvedic Medicine, Yogic History and Post-Partum care. Feeling the pace and energy of each class, she creates an environment for healing through breathing techniques and strong poses.

When Liz Hage moved to NYC and stepped foot inside the Jivamukti Center she knew she had "come home." She found a regular yoga practice went hand in hand with transitioning to big city life. Since Jivamukti certification, Liz has studied with many inspiring teachers, including John Friend. The vigorous, spiritual style of Jivamukti appealed to Liz and she now finds herself enjoying the integration of Jivamukti & Anusara yogic teachings.

Mara

Mara began her study of Yoga at the Ashtanga Yoga School in Seattle, WA. Before she knew that there was any other way, she jumped right into Ashtanga with an intensive training. Being a starving artist at the time, (still an artist, thankfully no longer starving!) she offered work in exchange for the teachings. Marašs devotion to Yoga never faltered in the ensuing 2 years in which she remained an almost daily practitioner of the Ashtanga system. She's also completed the teacher training at the renowned Center for Yoga. She is very excited to be able to share this beautiful, magical treasure.

Tory

Tory was born in Canada, raised in Amsterdam and settled into Los Angeles in 1996. Along with her sister, she opened her own hair salon, The Purple Circle, in Los Feliz . She started taking Hatha yoga classes approximately six years ago after being addicted to running and boxing. Tory had finally found her "softer" side that did not require the "no pain no gain" mentality. Through her own yoga practice Tory has fallen in love with not only the postures, but even more so with the scriptures, lifestyle, and happy attitude towards life.
